SP leader sacked after Mathura banker alleges harassment, stalking
AGRA, Sept. 16 -- The Samajwadi Party (SP) removed its state general secretary of the minority wing, Rajan Rizvi, after a woman bank employee in Mathura accused him of sending objectionable messages, stalking her and repeatedly trying to contact her despite her objections.
Assistant superintendent of police (city), Mathura, Aashna Chaudhary said a case was registered against Rizvi at Kotwali police station on Tuesday on the bank employee's complaint under Section 67 of the Information Technology Act for transmitting obscene material in electronic form.
