Chandigarh, Sept. 20 -- Soon, parking your vehicle in Sector 17 may get costlier as the municipal corporation (MC) is proposing a revised fee structure for the 20 paid-parking sites, including the multi-level parking in the sector.

The proposal will be placed before the General House on September 22. According to the proposal, two-wheelers will be charged Rs.10 for up to eight hours and Rs.15 beyond eight hours while car and three-wheeler owners will have to shell out Rs.20 for up to eight hours and Rs.30 beyond eight hours (see box).
