India, Oct. 10 -- Delhi cricket has rarely been short of stars. Some have emerged from the fiercely competitive cricketing circuit to play for India, lead it, and some became household names through the Indian Premier League. Yet, somewhere along the way, they have struggled to produce results as a team.

For a team with Delhi's pedigree and history, that is rather paradoxical.
