India, Oct. 7 -- Ask most laptop buyers what artificial intelligence (AI) means to them, and they will probably point to an app or a chatbot pinned to a browser tab. Lenovo's Yoga Slim 7x takes a different approach. The model builds a Qualcomm Hexagon NPU into the machine itself, so certain features run directly on the device instead of depending on a distant server. The laptop is one of several devices this year built around Snapdragon's newest chip family for Windows computers, and Lenovo's own positioning for it leads with the platform rather than design.
