New Delhi, April 22 -- India's electronics exports grew 24.4% to $47.96 billion in 2025-26, led by a sharp rise in smartphone shipments to the US, which more than doubled over the first 11 months of the financial year, an official said on Tuesday. Smartphone exports to the US rose to $17.64 billion between April 2025 and February 2026, up from $8.22 billion in the same period a year earlier-a 114.6% increase that the spokesperson attributed to demand for Indian-made premium devices in the American market.
