India, April 4 -- The US government revoked the green cards or visas of at least four Iranian nationals connected to the Islamic Republic regime, including two who it claimed are the niece and grand-niece of a former top Iranian military leader, Gen Qassem Soleimani, who was killed in a US airstrike near the Baghdad airport in Iraq in 2020.

Hamideh Soleimani Afshar and her daughter, who was not named, were arrested on Friday by the US Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), a statement said, adding that Afshar's husband has also been banned from entering the United States.
