LUCKNOW, Sept. 7 -- Six people were killed and five others injured after a sand-laden dumper rammed a tempo on the Agra-Moradabad National Highway in Sambhal district on Sunday morning, police said.

The accident took place around 9am near Bamnetta village, nearly 2km from the district headquarters, under Bahjoi police station limits.

The deceased were identified as three-month-old Aaradhya, her eight-year-old brother Dhruv, their 20-year-old maternal aunt Rohini, tempo driver Saudan Pal, 40, his associate Ruvaid, 30, and Rampal, who later succumbed to his injuries, Circle Officer (Bahjoi) Stuti Singh said.
