Siblings held for drug nexus in Jahangirpuri
New Delhi, June 28 -- A 30-year-old man and his three sisters were arrested for allegedly running a drug syndicate from multiple premises in northwest Delhi's Jahangirpuri, police said on Saturday, adding that they seized 1,300 psychotropic tablets, cash worth Rs.22 lakh, jewellery worth over Rs.40 lakh, and documents related to 11 flats valued at up to Rs.1.5 crore.
The accused were identified as Amit, 30; Paro, 28; Usha, 25; and Kanta, 35; all residents of Jahangirpuri. They have been booked under the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act and the Drugs and Cosmetics Act, officials said.
