India, Aug. 23 -- Shravana Putrada Ekadashi will be observed on August 23, 2026, according to Drik Panchang. The festival falls during the Shukla Paksha of the month of Shravana and is dedicated to Lord Vishnu. A recent post by Isha Foundation on X has also highlighted the spiritual idea behind Ekadashi fasting, describing it as an opportunity to become more conscious of your relationship with food.

The post says that Ekadashi comes on the 11th day after the new moon or full moon in the lunar calendar. It suggests observing the day through fasting and using the practice as a way to bring greater awareness to eating.
