Hyderabad, June 5 -- A massive fire broke out at a shopping complex in the busy commercial area of Ameerpet area on Thursday afternoon reducing several shops in the three-storied building to ashes, police said, adding there were no casualties in the mishap.

Hyderabad police commissioner V C Sajjanar, in a post on X, said the fire broke out at KSR Fashions, a garments showroom, located in the commercial complex located at Srinivasa Nagar West near Hyderabad metro rail station at Ameerpet. "Emergency response and rescue operations have been taken up at the site," Sajjannar said.
