India, April 18 -- A shooting incident in Las Vegas near the iconic STRAT Hotel, Casino and Tower triggered a heavy police response on Saturday afternoon. According to the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department (LVMPD), officers responded to reports of a shooting in the 1800 block of South Main Street.

The incident has left one person injured and has prompted authorities to deploy SWAT teams and crisis negotiators in the area ahead of the high-profile WrestleMania 42 weekend.

The individual struck by gunfire was transported to a nearby hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. According to Fox Vegas, the individual shot is an Atomic Golf employee.
