India, April 15 -- Sherrone Moore, the former University of Michigan's former head football coach, received an 18-month probation sentence on Tuesday, marking the conclusion of a criminal case linked to a scandal involving an extramarital affair that resulted in the loss of his prestigious position.
Moore, 40, was taken into custody on December 10, 2025, and faced charges of stalking, home invasion, and breaking and entering.
Earlier that same day, he was dismissed from the university due to an inappropriate relationship with an employee.
