Karnal, April 4 -- Haryana Sikh Gurdwara Management Committee's (HSGMC's) co-opted member and former president of the ad-hoc committee Baljit Singh Daduwal, on Friday said that Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee (SGPC) president Harjinder Singh Dhami should hand over the management of Kurukshetra's Miri Piri Institute of Medical Sciences and Research to Haryana.

Daduwal's remarks comes after the SGPC, led by Dhami, decided to stage a protest at the institute on April 7 against police action taken against its 20 members, who were booked on March 28 following the March 20 face-off with HSGMC leaders.
