NEW DELHI, Aug. 22 -- A 69-year-old woman who lived alone in a ground-floor flat of a four-storey building in southeast Delhi's Pant Nagar was murdered in the early hours of Friday during a suspected robbery, police officers said, once again posing security concerns over vulnerability of elderly residents even in relatively upscale neighbourhoods of the Capital. Police officers who visited the spot said that the woman, Preeti Kumar, lived alone since her husband died in the 1980s and that her body was found by her daughter, who lives nearby, on Friday morning.
