New Delhi, Sept. 24 -- The Supreme Court on Wednesday stayed the order of the Allahabad HC directing deduction of compensation amount of Rs.5 lakh from the salary of GB Nagar district magistrate over the detention of an activist under NSA during the April workers' protest. The SC also stayed the direction of the HC passing strictures against the DM over the detention.
