New Delhi, Aug. 25 -- Over 1,700 civil dispute cases were resolved in three days at the Supreme Court's three-day Special Lok Adalat, organised as part of Samadhan Samaroh, an official released said on Monday. The event featured several firsts as judges, senior advocates and advocates-on-record (AoR) decided the cases by helping litigants reach an amicable settlement. This was also the first time judges held court on a Sunday, otherwise a non-working day.
