New Delhi, Sept. 23 -- The Supreme Court on Tuesday directed the Uttar Pradesh government to replace the public prosecutor conducting the 2021 Lakhimpur Kheri violence trial against Ashish Mishra, son of former Union minister Ajay Mishra, after being told crucial witnesses were being given up by the present prosecutor. The court, however, dismissed the plea seeking removal of the presiding officer accused of intimidating one witness.P11
