New Delhi, July 30 -- The Supreme Court has refused to grant bail to former Reliance Power chief financial officer Ashok Kumar Pal in an alleged money laundering case allowing him to apply afresh before the trial court after the stage of framing of charges. A bench of justices BV Nagarathna and R Mahadevan, in an order passed on Tuesday, said, "We dispose of this special leave petition by reserving liberty to the petitioner (Pal) to seek the relief of regular bail once the charges have been framed in the instant case by making an application before the trial court."
