SC adopts virtual hearing, 2-day WFH, car-pooling after PM's austerity push
India, May 15 -- The Supreme Court of India had adopted virtual hearing, car-pooling, and two days work-from-home after Prime Minister Narendra Modi's push for austerity measures.
Half of the staff working in each branch and section of the Supreme Court Registry will be allowed to work from home for two days a week. On Mondays and Friday, the top court has decided to hear cases only virtually through video conferencing.
