Sanjay Jha suggests renaming JD(U) as 'Janata Dal (Nitish)'
PATNA, Sept. 12 -- The Janata Dal (United) working president and Rajya Sabha member Sanjay Jha's suggestion that the party be renamed Janata Dal (Nitish) has put the spotlight on the party's identity and its future direction, coming months after Nitish Kumar stepped down as Bihar chief minister and moved to the Rajya Sabha.
Jha made the suggestion during the ongoing 'Nitish Samvad' programme in Begusarai and Khagaria, saying the party's standing in Bihar was closely linked to Kumar's work and legacy.
