Samajwadi Party MPs donate protest funds at Hanuman temple in Delhi
Lucknow, Aug. 14 -- Samajwadi Party MPs on Thursday donated around Rs.2,15,490 and two silver coins, collected during their recent protest in Parliament, at the historic Hanuman temple at Connaught Place in New Delhi. The amount was contributed by Members of Parliament from various parties over the past few days of the Monsoon Session. The MPs offered the money and coins to the deity and obtained a receipt for the donation. During the Monsoon Session, opposition parties demanded a debate on the alleged theft of donations at the Ram Temple in Ayodhya.
