S.I.T. begins probe amid funds row at ram temple
Lucknow, June 16 -- The special investigation team (SIT), constituted by the Uttar Pradesh government two days ago, on Monday reached Ayodhya and began its investigation into the allegations about the embezzlement of donations at the Ram temple, people aware of the matter said.
The three-member probe panel entered the temple complex from gate number 11 at 2.53 pm in separate vehicles and began its probe from the cash-counting room, they said.
