Ruckus in Bihar council over Nitish's remarks on Rabri Devi
New Delhi, Feb. 11 -- The Bihar legislative council on Tuesday ended abruptly amid chaos after opposition members were suspended for the day and evicted by marshals after they created ruckus, demanding an apology from chief minister Nitish Kumar for his alleged objectionable remarks against their leader Rabri Devi a day ago.
"The words used by Kumar were unbecoming of a chief minister. He should be summoned to the House and made to tender an apology," said RJD MLC Abdul Qari Sohaib.
The opposition legislators, thereafter, trooped into the well, and many of them were seen engaged in a heated exchange with MLCs of the ruling NDA.
