India, July 8 -- In a major push to strengthen India's skill development ecosystem, the Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship (MSDE) has approved the nationwide expansion of the Pradhan Mantri Skilling and Employability Transformation through Upgraded ITIs (PM-SETU), marking the programme's transition from its pilot phase to full-scale implementation across 200 Industrial Training Institute (ITI) clusters.
The decision was taken during the 4th National Steering Committee (NSC) meeting, chaired by Debashree Mukherjee, Secretary, MSDE.
