Revanth Reddy orders probe into farmhouse land held by KCR
Hyderabad, Sept. 17 -- Telangana CM A Revanth Reddy on Wednesday ordered an inquiry into the land held by BRS president K Chandrashekar Rao at his farmhouse in Erravelli, Siddipet district.
Speaking in the assembly on private lands included in the prohibited list under Section 22-A of the Registration Act, Reddy directed officials to examine whether the 700-acre property was legally held by KCR.
"We have asked the officials to complete the probe within 30 days. As per the information, as much as 388 acres of government land was part of KCR's farmhouse. If it is proved that the government land has been occupied or held illegally, we shall take steps to confiscate the same and distribute it among the poor," Reddy said.
