Bhopal, May 29 -- Retired judge Giribala Singh, mother-in-law of former model Twisha Sharma, was arrested from her residence on Thursday by the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) team in connection to the dowry death case of Sharma, officers said. CBI officers took Giribala Singh to the MANIT campus (Maulana Azad National Institute of Technology), where a temporary office was formed by the investigating agency. The medical board was summoned to conduct her medical examination at MANIT. Giribala is scheduled to be produced in court on Friday and CBI will try to secure her custody.
