India, Aug. 24 -- All Washoe County School District (WCSD) schools will be canceled Monday, August 24, due to the Hawk Fire in Reno, school district officials announced, per News4. The only exception is Gerlach K-12 School.

The closure also includes St. Albert the Great Catholic Community, Mater Academy of Northern Nevada, St. Johns Children's Center, Truckee Meadows Community College, Coral Academy of Science Reno, Bishop Manogue Catholic High School and Pinecrest Academy of Northern Nevada.
