India, Aug. 24 -- Reel star Madhavi Rajesh Kumbhar and six others, arrested in an assault and attempt-to-murder case, were remanded in judicial custody till September 3 on Saturday.

Judicial Magistrate First Class M M Bage rejected the police's request for three more days of custody. The seven accused were subsequently lodged at Yerawada Central Prison.

The accused are Madhavi Rajesh Kumbhar, 23, Snehal Sanjay Sonke, 20, Rahul Sitaram Waghmare, 20, Shivanand alias Shivraj alias Suchcha Siddhappa Talwar, 21, Aditya alias Aadi Sunil Bhalerao, 22, Priyanshu alias Piyush Pradeep Bhosale, 22, and Prem alias Pamya Manoj Salve, 22.
