India, Aug. 11 -- Psychiatric nurse practitioner Rebecca Jollotta was summoned to provide testimony regarding her treatment of Lindsay Clancy at the South Shore perinatal behavioral clinic in 2022.

During her testimony on Tuesday, Jollotta stated that she has treated five women diagnosed with postpartum psychosis, in addition to hundreds of others suffering from postpartum depression and anxiety.

Clancy's attorney argues that she should be acquitted on the basis of insanity, asserting that she was experiencing extreme postpartum psychosis at the time she strangled her three children.
