Ram temple trust appoints retired Air Marshal Jeetendra Mishra as temple's first CEO
India, Sept. 2 -- The Shri Ram Janmbhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust on Wednesday named Air Marshal (retd) Jeetendra Mishra as its first full-time chief executive officer (CEO) of the Ram temple, from a shortlist of three candidates picked from 5,585 applications by a high-powered committee.
Mishra, from Uttar Pradesh's Deoria district, served in the Indian Air Force for nearly 40 years before retiring on April 30, 2026 as Air Officer Commanding-in-Chief, West Air Command. Earlier, he served as the Deputy Chief of Integrated Defence Staff (Operations).
Besides, the Trust named Mahesh Bhagchandka from Delhi, former additional advocate general Madan Mohan Pandey from Ayodhya and Nirmala Yadav as new trustees.
