India, June 5 -- Telugu actor Ram Charan's much-awaited film Peddi released in theatres on June 4 and has got off to a strong start at the box office. Despite receiving mixed-to-positive reviews from critics and audiences, the sports action drama has managed to register an impressive opening, crossing the Rs.100 crore mark worldwide on its first day. Amid the film's successful opening, a video of Ram Charan's wife, entrepreneur Upasana Konidela, celebrating the milestone with fans has surfaced on social media.
