India, Oct. 8 -- Thalaivar 173, starring Rajinikanth and produced by Kamal Haasan, saw two director changes before it was finally announced in June that it would be titled Dharman and directed by Ashwath Marimuthu. Now, amid rumours of an on-set rift between the star and filmmaker, Rajinikanth's team shut them down, stating that the actor is 'comfortable and happy' on set.

TOI reported that a now-deleted X (formerly Twitter) post claimed issues on the set of Dharman. The post also reportedly claimed a disagreement between Rajinikanth and Ashwath on set, as well as an uncomfortable working atmosphere. The unverified post quickly garnered attention as many look forward to Rajinikanth's film with the Dragon director.
