Barmer/Pali, May 16 -- A 30-year-old man was arrested on Friday in a village near Sojat in Pali district for allegedly murdering an 11-year-old boy a day earlier, reportedly as part of a "human sacrifice" ritual, police said. The boy, Arif Khan, was found dead near a pond inside a jungle near Ramasani Sandwan village, a senior officer said, adding that the body was found with tied limbs and a slit throat. A broken earthen pot and pieces of bloodstained wood were recovered, he added.
