Raj eyes key reforms with Rs.6L-cr Budget
Jaipur, Feb. 12 -- Rajasthan finance minister Diya Kumari on Wednesday presented the budget in the State Assembly, unveiling a Rs.6,10,956-crore financial plan that emphasises administrative reforms, climate-linked agriculture, youth empowerment, green growth and expanded welfare measures.
Presenting the Bhajan Lal Sharma government's third consecutive full budget in a nearly two-hour-and-52-minute speech, the minister outlined wide-ranging initiatives spanning employees, farmers, healthcare, education, infrastructure and environmental sustainability.
