India, Sept. 28 -- HTC | Jaipur The Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) on Sunday arrested Special Operations Group (SOG) Additional Superintendent of Police Mukesh Kumar Soni on charges of demanding a Rs.2 crore bribe in connection with the investigation into an alleged scam involving 272 municipal plots in Udaipur. The arrest followed the questioning of broker Sajjan Singh Jain, alias Tatla, whom the ACB caught accepting the money on Saturday. Soni was detained the same day. The plot case was registered at Udaipur's Surajpol police station in 2022 and was being investigated by Soni.
