Push to roll out women's quota in line with Opposition demands: PM Modi
India, April 14 -- The push to roll out a 33% reservation for women in the Lok Sabha and state assemblies -- Parliament is to meet later this week to take up the matter -- is in keeping with the Opposition's demand for an early implementation of the law passed in 2023, Prime Minister Narendra Modi said at the Nari Shakti Vandan Sammelan in Vigyan Bhawan, New Delhi, on Monday.
