AMRITSAR, Aug. 13 -- Akali Dal (Waris Punjab De) on Wednesday announced five more candidates for the forthcoming Punjab assembly elections, including two jailed associates of Khadoor Sahib MP Amritpal Singh - actor-turned-activist Daljit Singh Kalsi from Ajnala assembly constituency and Gurmeet Singh Bukanwala from Moga.

The announcements were made at a press conference here by the members of the party's parliamentary board and Faridkot MP Sarabjit Singh Khalsa.

The other candidates include Darshan Singh Shivalik for Gill constituency in Ludhiana, Jagjit Singh, alias Baba Jagga, from Kapurthala and Rachhpal Singh Sosan from Kotkapura.
