New Delhi, Aug. 22 -- The Election Commission of India (ECI) on Thursday submitted before the Supreme Court that it has complied with the court's directions on transparency in Bihar's electoral roll revision, publishing the booth-wise list of nearly 6.5 million voters whose names are missing from the draft rolls along with reasons for their exclusion. The move comes a day ahead of Friday's crucial hearing on petitions alleging large-scale deletions during the special intensive revision (SIR) exercise.
