Dehradun, July 9 -- Police in Uttarakhand's Chamoli on Wednesday registered an FIR against an employee of the Shri Badrinath Kedarnath Temple Committee, a day after he was suspended after a preliminary inquiry by a four-member panel found irregularities in the handling of donations at the Badrinath Dham.
Pramod Nautiyal was serving as a personal assistant in the chairman's office. A show-cause notice was issued to him on July 3. The latest action came a day after the state government formed a high-level panel to probe the allegations, which surfaced on July 2 after irregularities were noticed during the counting of donations in the donation plate.
