Chandigarh, April 4 -- Haryana chief minister Nayab Singh Saini on Friday directed officials to prepare a drainage system proposal in Fatehabad district up to Rajasthan border to help farmers use rain water for irrigation purposes.
Chairing a review meeting regarding cleaning of drains, canals, and water channels with officers of the irrigation, public health and local bodies departments here on Friday, Saini said that to deal with the issues of waterlogging in inhabited areas, proposals for new drainage projects should be prepared to overcome the problem.
