India, Oct. 9 -- Prashant Kishor's Jan Suraaj Party on Thursday released its first list of 51 candidates for Bihar assembly polls.

The former strategist-turned-politician, who will be contesting the assembly elections for the first time, is trying to portray Jan Suraaj as a third alternative in Bihar, which is dominated by a two-party system.

Bihar assembly elections are scheduled to be held in two phases on November 6 and November 11, while the results will be declared on November 14.

Bihar has 243 assembly constituencies, including two seats reserved for STs and 38 for SCs.
