India, Aug. 14 -- After being postponed amid a crowded release calendar, Rajkummar Rao's upcoming biopic on public prosecutor Ujjwal Nikam, Prahaar, has finally got a new release date. The film's makers, Maddock Films, announced the new release date on its Instagram handle on Thursday. This new release data may, however, mean that the film could clash with another Rajkummar film.

According to the update shared by Maddock Films on social media, Prahaar will now release on October 16. The poster shared by Maddock includes the release date. "#PRAHAAR - The Untold Story of Ujjwal Nikam, in cinemas 16th October 2026," the caption alongside read.
