Chandigarh, Nov. 2 -- The ruling Aam Aadmi Party (AAP), along with opposition parties Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD) and Congress, on Saturday hit out at the Centre for "restructuring" Panjab University's governing bodies - Senate and Syndicate. The attack came after the Centre restructured Panjab University's Senate and Syndicate via a notification dated October 28, amending the Panjab University Act, 1947, taking effect immediately.
