India, Feb. 26 -- Police in West Bengal's Murshidabad on Thursday served a notice to Raihan Ali, the son-in-law of suspended Trinamool Congress MLA and Janata Unnayan Party (JUP) founder Humayun Kabir, under the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act , asking him to appear for questioning on February 28.

This comes days after the police seized 14 properties and 15 bank accounts linked to Ali, his father, Shariful Islam, and Humayun Kabir's daughter, Nazma Sultana, on February 8 and 9 under the NDPS Act following court orders in a 2025 case.
