New Delhi, Sept. 19 -- A 31-year-old alleged member of the Rohit Godara-Mahender Delana gang was arrested and two kilograms of suspected Pakistan-origin heroin worth around Rs.12 crore recovered from a car, police said on Friday. The arrest was made in a joint operation by the Delhi Police's special cell and the Vadodara City crime branch of Gujarat Police. Police identified the accused as Kuldeep Swami, wanted in connection with a Rs.10-crore extortion case registered in Vadodara. He was intercepted in Chandni Chowk on September 12 on intel that an extortion instalment was to be handed over in Delhi.
