New Delhi, May 25 -- A petition has been filed in the Supreme Court for taking action against the satirical online political movement "Cockroach Janata Party" (CJP) and people involved in it for allegedly commercially exploiting the top court's observations made during the proceedings in a recent case. The plea, filed by practising lawyer Raja Chaudhary on Sunday, said that the formation of the political movement and subsequence trademark appropriation for the party name 'CJP' amounts to "selective extraction" and "sensational dissemination" of the top court's May 15 observation, when Chief Justice of India (CJI) Surya Kant referred to youngsters who acquire fake degrees and gain entry into professions and target institutions on social medi...
