India, Sept. 4 -- Autorickshaw passengers in Pune and Pimpri-Chinchwad have expressed disappointment over the 25% night surcharge introduced from midnight to 5 am under the revised fare structure that came into effect on September 1.

Also, passengers travelling between 11 pm and 5 am in Pune rural must pay a 40% night surcharge .

The revised fare structure has set the minimum fare at Rs.30 for the first 1.5 km, while passengers will be charged Rs.20 for every subsequent kilometre.
