nEW DELHI, July 31 -- Parliament has passed the Public Examinations (Prevention of Unfair Means) Amendment Bill, 2026, introduced following student protests against competitive exam irregularities. The Rajya Sabha cleared the bill through a voice vote on Thursday, a day after it passed the Lok Sabha.
Welcoming the development, Prime Minister Narendra Modi stated that this strong anti-paper leak bill fulfils a promise to protect the future of children from the menace. P8
