India, April 3 -- US President Donald Trump has removed Attorney General Pam Bondi from her position. The decision came amid growing frustration over her performance and her handling of the Jeffrey Epstein files.

According to a Daily Mail report, Bondi pleaded with Trump not to remove her during a tense moment at the White House. She reportedly asked for more time in the role but Trump did not change his decision.

"She was unhappy and tried to change his mind," a source said.
