India, March 2 -- At least 100 international flights - both arrivals and departures - stood cancelled at Delhi's Indira Gandhi International (IGIA) airport on Sunday amid the crisis in West Asia. With West-bound flights crippled for a second consecutive day, fliers were stranded at the airport despite hundreds of the cancellations being announced in advance as they queued up in front of ticketing counters to look at alternative routes.
"Till late evening, at least 100 flights - 62 departures and 42 arrivals stood cancelled," an airport official told HT, adding, "These were primarily flights cancelled in advance, with passengers receiving intimation early, so they don't reach the airport." Track US Iran war live updates
